Last night we talked and prayed through the Lord's Prayer in Luke 11:1-4. Thirty minutes of quiet and reflection and no jokes (not that the laughter isn't my cup of coffee). Has our time at our PYG affected your prayer life this week? Do you find yourself thinking the Lord's Priorities, let alone praying the Lord's Prayer.

Our Father in heaven - Kingdom priority of the gospel and sonship

Hallowed be your name - Kingdom priority of worship

Your kingdom come - Kingdom priority of evangelism

Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven - Kingdom priority of mercy and social justice

Give us this day our daily bread - Kingdom priority of contentmnet and generosity

Forgive us our debts a s we forgive our debtors - Kingdom priority of a redemptive community

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil - Kingdom priority of spiritual warfare and the gospel

Yours is the kingdom, and power, and glory, forever - Kingdom priority of God's sovereignty

Which of the above elements of Christ's prayer are new and not normal in your prayer life?

Students, saddle up. We are taking a mission trip to the heart of Washington DC to engage the needs of "urbania" (definition: a cramped up place where lots of people are). More information will be coming.

How many of you have ever been on a mission trip? What did you do? How did you learn dependence on Christ and see him work change in you and others?

Last Fall, we spent plenty of time looking at our weaknesses that we might experience Christ's gospel power through an awareness of our dependence.

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

How has our Fall "Living the gospel in weakness" study affected your life at school?
