A Tenebrae service helps us engage our body and soul in the story of the crucifixion. As we sing and read the story leading to the death of Christ, candles will fill the room. As Christ progresses to the cross, as death approaches, the room will get darker until only one candle remains. At the moment in the story when Jesus dies, the last candle will be snuffed out and we will leave with a longing and expectation for Easter morning. Invite your friends and family.
